Our Philosophy.

We believe in the power that photography has to move its viewers, and aim to produce beautifully artistic photos that capture not just the details, but also the essence, emotion and love of your wedding day.

We believe that wedding photos should be timeless and classic.  They should look just as beautiful in thirty years as they do today.  However, we don't believe in limiting ourselves creatively.  Our primary approach to photographing the wedding day is documentary in style, although we're not afraid to try new and different ideas and methods.  We are always striving to complete our artistic visions.

We like for our clients to be themselves.  Every person we work with is unique and each wedding we photograph is special.  We don't believe in cookie cutter approaches to our work.

Our studio offers the best products and service available.  We truly care about the work we do and the experience you have with us.  It is our passion and we dedicate ourselves to creating work that is unmatched and truly unique.

We are grateful to be able to photograph each wedding we book, and view it as a gift to be able to share your day with you.

CHRIS Owner / Principle Photographer Thank you for visiting my site and checking out my work. I hope you enjoy it! Photography has been my passion since I was young, and I feel so lucky to take part in this creative process every day. I believe that photography is a unique art form, a powerful visual language that we all understand, and my hope is that my images move you in some way. I've lived in Houston most of my life, with a wonderful (and all too short) escape to Austin for college at the University of Texas where I studied Studio Art. I married my high school sweetheart, Regan, who is the love of my life and my best friend. We have a 90lb golden retriever named Georgia, who is our obsession. Georgia is my faithful assistant at the studio, and will happily greet you when you come by. I started Chris Bailey Photography in 2008, after graduating from the University of Texas. I've had so much fun working with so many wonderful people, and I consider it an honor and a blessing to be able to take part in and capture my clients' most special moments in their lives. If you like what you see, or would like to know more about our services, please send us a note through our contact page, or give us a call at the studio. Thank you again for viewing my work! -Chris

SARAH Photographer / Studio Manager I have the best job in the world. Why? Because it doesn’t feel like a job. Everyday I get to work in a creative environment with people I like. As the Studio Manager, I do many tasks to keep this place moving along, including taking print orders, working on album designs, managing our studio schedule and more. I also stay busy photographing weddings and events for our studio throughout the year! I met Chris in 2011 via Facebook of all places. We had friends and likes in common and soon became quick friends ourselves. After that, I had the honor of being his third photographer for a wedding. We had the best time, as he kept everything light and fun, but ensured that we did all we needed to do to photograph a perfect wedding. And that is what we continue to strive to do. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my amazing husband, Sam, and my beautiful daughters, Alison & Grace.  Sam is a musician so Alison and I like to listen to him play guitar and dance around the house. Alison is three-years-old and likes anything and everything princess, so you can image what my house looks like. I also like long walks on the beach, a nice glass of wine and snuggling up with a good book by the fire while listening to Yacht Rock.  I received a BA in Photojournalism from the University of North Texas, caw!

DAVID Principle Photographer / Post Production Manager From the age of 11, when my father handed me a camera to photograph animals at a zoo photo contest, I’ve been a photographer. After obtaining my degree in photography from the Art Institute of Houston in 1986 I have endeavored many projects. The most significant of these was when I began shooting weddings in a documentary style full time in 1998. What began as a personal series of photographs has become my way of life. Formula and repetition are not the goals I have when I am commissioned for a wedding; rather, I strive to create images that capture all the originality of your day sincerely and professionally. This is what makes what I do worthwhile no matter how long I’ve done it. Creating my own personal art work while creating memories for my clients go hand in hand, and make what I do a sincere gesture that I really enjoy. I take what I do very seriously and have a lifelong passion for the medium and will continue to create as long as I am able. Over the course of my career I have met so many terrific people. In all that time, my focus has been that my clients receive the images of a lifetime from what I create. I look forward to meeting with you and learning about your family and the day that defines what life is all about...your wedding day.

ASHLEY Photographer / Creative & Marketing Director Growing up I was quick to get my hands into anything artistic, art was never merely an inspiration to me but became one of my deepest expressions. As a result of that I found myself behind a lens when I was in high school and fell head over heels in love!  My passion is using the lens to tell a story in the fleeting moments of a wedding day, and in life in general, I make my focus on the ‘in-between moments’, the soft and sincere expressions. I started working with the Chris Bailey Photography team in 2014 and being able to work so closely with a group I love and admire so much has been one of the greatest privileges, along with working beside them to photograph our clients during some of their happiest moments. My goal is to create photographs that tell an intimate, genuine story — the way you feel and see it played out.
